Maryland EBT Deposit Schedule
Maryland SNAP benefits don't all load on the same day. Your deposit date is based on the last digit of your case number, spread across a 20-day window each month.
Monthly Deposit Schedule
| Last Digit of Case # | Deposit Day |
|---|---|
| 0 | 4th of the month |
| 1 | 6th of the month |
| 2 | 8th of the month |
| 3 | 10th of the month |
| 4 | 12th of the month |
| 5 | 14th of the month |
| 6 | 16th of the month |
| 7 | 18th of the month |
| 8 | 20th of the month |
| 9 | 23rd of the month |
What Time Do Benefits Load?
Benefits are typically available by 6:00 AM Eastern Time on your scheduled day. If your balance hasn't updated by noon, call 1-800-997-2222.
Do Benefits Roll Over?
Yes. Unspent SNAP benefits stay on your card and roll into the next month. However, if you don't use your card for 274 consecutive days (about 9 months), your benefits will be removed.
Holiday Schedule
If your deposit day falls on a federal holiday, benefits load on the same date — they are not delayed. The EBT system runs 24/7.
Where to Find Your Case Number
Your case number is on every letter from the Department of Human Services and inside your ebtEdge.com account. It's different from your EBT card number.
Quick Reminders
- Check your balance the day before your deposit so you know what's new.
- If you switch cases (move to a new county), your deposit day may change.
- P-EBT and emergency allotments may follow a different schedule — check letters from DHS.
